Job description
Responsibilities
Able to manage heavy departmental phone traffic. Schedules various sleep medicine studies with external providers, coordinates DME orders and delivery to patients. Maintains sleep study database and medical record files of sleep medicine patients. Liaison between patient, Pulmonary department, and physicians.

Salary Range: $37,669 – $46,530 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: High School diploma or GED from an accredited program
Preferred: 2 years of college education
Experience
Required: 1-2 years Sleep Medicine or Pulmonary experience. Medical terminology.
Preferred: Familiar with sleep therapy and durable medical equipment

Preferred: N/A
Special Skills
Required: Familiarity with compliance software and peripheral equipment.
Preferred: Intermediate to advanced PC skills including database management. Strong organizational skills.
Other
Required: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Critical thinking skills to enable trouble shooting and decision making. 10-key by touch ability.
Preferred: Managerial / Supervisory abilities necessary for overseeing other staff assigned to the sleep department.
Exhibits Sleep Medicine knowledge base and developed computer skills and capability to assist with build and implementation of Pulmonary EMR with regard to.
