Job description

Re:Dish is a fast growing, mission driven, early stage company that is providing a sustainable service for institutional foodservice operations. Front and center in the emerging circular economy, Re:Dish supports its corporate clients in making meaningful progress on their decarbonization and sustainability initiatives in an economically attractive way.

Re:Dishis addressing the issue of single use waste by providing the opportunity to reuse food service packaging. The company is building a network of enterprise-scale washing facilities to respond to the growing need - in a more sustainably conscious world - for these reverse logistics solutions. These washing centers use customized machinery, off the shelf hardware and purpose-built software to achieve a scalable model for return logistics to replace single use disposables. The first such facility services the NY DMA with a daily capacity of over 100,000 pieces.

With reuse at the top of the waste management hierarchy as environmentally preferable to any single use product, Re:Dish helps enterprises reach their sustainability goals by leveraging its enterprise-scaled reusable container program to replace the landfill-bound, single use container historically used in food service. Re:Dish supplies reusable containers and cups (in many sizes), collects the dirties daily, washes/sanitizes them in its own quality-controlled industrial facilities, and then re-delivers them to the client. In addition, the costs to use Re:Dish are neutral compared to any single use containers (no matter the material used), but highly favorable to the environment and to the reduction of carbon emissions, with the company providing clients with a dashboard and metrics to measure and report their emission impact.

Re:Dish is a certified woman-owned business with a passionate, experienced management team that is currently servicing enterprise clients in New York City such as Discovery Inc., L'Oreal, and Google, and with an extensive pipeline of new industrial food service opportunities. As workforces return to the office and the interest of corporations in reducing their scope 3 emissions increases, the attractiveness of the company's solution continues to grow - providing the foundation for rapid revenue growth at highly attractive gross margins.
