** MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE**

The main purpose of this position is to maintain a high quality of service and hospitality for Lakeview Village residents and guests by providing exceptional service at all assigned catering events. This includes setup, service, and tear down of all assigned events.

• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Properly set up and decorate all catering events. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Table, chair, décor & equipment setup and removal
• Ability to interpret event orders to meet client needs
• Proper usage of linens, china, glassware, silverware and smallwares for various types of events
• Provide excellent service and hospitality at all scheduled catering events. This includes but is not limited to:
• Ensuring guest satisfaction during event
• Communicating catering information to fellow staff and guests
• Anticipating and accommodating any guest needs
• Knowledge of all catering and beverage menu items well enough to answer questions for guests
• Maintain proper personal appearance, uniform and hygiene at all catering events.
• Assist with inventory and proper storage of all catering and beverage equipment and supplies at all times.
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with Lakeview employees in all divisions, residents and all potential customers, promoting our services and catering opportunities.
• Responsibly serve alcoholic beverages within the established policies and procedures established by Lakeview Village and the State of Kansas if assigned to do so.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with inter-department personnel and other departments within the facility, to assure that Dining Service programs can be utilized effectively to meet the needs of facility and residents.
• All other duties as assigned by your supervisor or person in charge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.75 - $20.43 per hour
