The Part Time Nurse is responsible for maintaining the daily operations of the SUNY CCC Health Services Office in all areas of health services, education, and programming for students and staff. The work week will be up to 25 hours as scheduled. Incumbent must perform the essential duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation. Occasional meetings at different CCC locations and in the community may be required; travel to conferences and/or recruiting events may be required and physical condition commensurate with demands of the position. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Nursing Care -30%Administer first aid, hygiene, general health and emergency services to students, staff, and visitors. Immunization Compliance - 30%Perform data entry and assist with records maintenance, including verification of NYS immunization requirements and waivers.Outreach - 20%Create, implement and support outreach programs regarding health and wellness issues, particularly those directly impacting the health and academic success of students.Referrals -10%Establish and maintain community relationships and make appropriate referrals to area health care providers and human service organizations.Miscellaneous - 10%Perform other related duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal communication skillsComputer literacy, must be able to use Microsoft Excel and Google sheetsDemonstrates commitment to accomplishing work in an ethical, efficient, and cost-effective mannerMaintains excellent time and attendance.
