Job Summary: This position will provide valuable experience in strategic planning, maintaining and creating campus partnerships, developing trainings, implementing programming and facilitating presentations. The position will be responsible for advising student-athlete and staff subgroups to include but not limited to: Project ID and the Team for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (T.I.D.E). Other job responsibilities will include participation and facilitation of various trainings (e.g., DEI), oversight of civic engagement initiatives for student-athletes, as well as career and life skills development for assigned sport programs.

Additional Department Summary: This position will report to the Assistant Athletics Director of Student-Athlete Enhancement and have a dotted line to Sr. Deputy Director of Athletics/SWA/Chief Diversity Officer. This position will work closely with the UA Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, as well as the Women Gender Resource Center and the UA Division of Student Life.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience; OR Master's degree and some experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week and must have the ability to work some nights and weekends.

Skills and Knowledge: The successful candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate with a culturally diverse population and possess high attention to detail. In addition, they must be a self-starter and have the ability to develop and implement programming, start to finish.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in athletics preferred. Master's degree preferred. Experience working with Sr. Athletics Administration, coaches and student-athletes preferred.
