• Must be in attendance and on time each day you are scheduled to work.
• Must be in proper working attire and have all hair, clothes, etc. in clean condition while working.
• Follow proper health and safety requirements for certified assisted living facilities set forth by the state of Indiana.
• Wipe down & sanitize all tables and chairs after each meal.
• Clean all dishes, silverware, glasses and trash off tables.
• Vacuum in dining room after every meal.
• Set tables with silverware for the next meal.
• Make sure coffee, tea, lemonade, etc. are always made for each meal.
• Put salad bar out 45 min before each meal and start serving 30 before each meal, cover and put in walk in after each meal.
• Tell each resident what is on the salad bar for that day, make their plate and take it to them.
• After dinner, empty ice out of salad bar and clean it out.
• Take coffee and tea urns to the kitchen to be washed and sanitized.
• Wipe down and sanitize counter tops and fridge handle.
• Sweep and mop floors at the end of the day.
• Check all condiments and keep refilled.
• Turn off, wipe down, sanitize steam table and check water table after each use.
• Keep ice cooler filled at all times.
• Turn on steam table 1 ½ hours prior to each meal.
• Set water & coffee cups out one hour before each meal.
• Take trash out and replace the bag.
• Must be able to follow instructions of the head cook and supervisor and be willing to help out others in the kitchen if needed, this includes but is not limited to sweeping, mopping and dishes
• Take dirty cart to the kitchen to be washed.
• Must be present in dining room at all times when residents are present.
• Other duties as assigned.
