The primary responsibilities of the Director of Marketing will be:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive strategic marketing plan that enhances the organization’s image and position in the marketplace. Ensure plan is measurable and consistent with the company’s strategic and key performance indicator (KPI) goals.
  • Develop relationships with potential referral sources in the community through cold calling, attendance at community and industry networking events and reaching out to collegues and peers.
  • Develop a process for qualifying referral sources as a means of determining appropriate and effective outreach efforts.
  • Manage expenditures within the marketing budget.
  • Evaluate results and effectiveness of marketing activity. Provide weekly and monthly updates to the President / Owner outlining measurable results. Show how outcomes help meet company strategic and KPI goals.
  • Manage and create content for the company website, social media, and search engine optimization platforms. Develop a schedule to ensure new content on a regular basis.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all marketing mediums.
  • Research and develop strategies and plans that identify marketing opportunities for new project development.
  • Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, developments, and best practices.
  • Conduct periodic market analysis to identify market trends, competitive position, and opportunities. Recommend changes/updates to marketing strategies based on the analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree preferred in Marketing or Business Administration.
  • Five years of experience in Outside Sales / Marketing, experience in private duty homecare is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent conceptual thinking skills with the capacity to analyze complex and sensitive issues. Excel in crisis management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently, and diplomatically – both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to make public presentations and speak well in public situations.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and execute Community Outreach events.
  • Ability to remain flexible, resilient, calm, and maintain a sense of humor in all situations.
  • Present a well-groomed image that reflects the professionalism of the business.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, delegate and accurately complete work activities within deadlines while managing interruptions.
  • Ability to handle rejection.
  • Work independently and proactively with minimal direction and/or supervision.
  • Ability to generate goodwill for the agency with clients, their family members and other referral sources. Demonstrate a strong commitment to client service excellence.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) applications, scheduling systems and other healthcare industry-related-software.
  • Ability to lawfully work in the U.S.
  • Submit to a comprehensive background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
