RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and maintain a safe and healthy living environment for residents
• Supervision and development of all nursing staff
• Maintain high standards of care for all residents
• Manage department audits and outcomes
• Communication with providers, families and community partners
• Recruiting, training and onboarding new nursing staff
• Providing ongoing staff education and in-service training
• Staff Evaluation
• Department budget oversight
• Maintain regulatory compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Maintains a current/unencumbered LPN/RN license in Washington
• Prefer leadership experience, but willing to train the right candidate
• Proven time management and organization skills
• Possess the ability to handle complex issues and find creative solutions
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills – verbal and written
• Ability to think critically and apply sound nursing judgment
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
