RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct and maintain a safe and healthy living environment for residents
- Supervision and development of all nursing staff
- Maintain high standards of care for all residents
- Manage department audits and outcomes
- Communication with providers, families and community partners
- Recruiting, training and onboarding new nursing staff
- Providing ongoing staff education and in-service training
- Staff Evaluation
- Department budget oversight
- Maintain regulatory compliance
- Maintains a current/unencumbered LPN/RN license in Washington
- Prefer leadership experience, but willing to train the right candidate
- Proven time management and organization skills
- Possess the ability to handle complex issues and find creative solutions
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills – verbal and written
- Ability to think critically and apply sound nursing judgment
- Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
