Eaton’s ES AMER HQ MFGSC division is currently seeking a Electrical Tester.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.25 per hour.

What you’ll do:
Position Overview:
Achieve or complete final assembly; perform electrical, electronic, or dielectric tests for units according to procedures and methods established; and ensure that the units have all parts according to requirements.
In this function you will:
- Achieve calibrations, specific tests, and evaluations to determine acceptance or rejection according to written instructions, and keeping a log of results.
- Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards.
- Visual verification of all materials used.
- Identify all materials that do not conform and segregate from good material.
- Repair units.
- Follow all quality and safety requirements.
- Bring to the attention of a supervisor or person in charge any abnormality in the product of process.
- Verify that all materials used are properly identified.
- Always maintain a clean and organized work area and keep equipment clean.
- Receive verbal or written work assignments from the supervisor.
- Prepare and submit all required reports (checklists, yield, etc.).
- Responsible for machinery and materials in the area.
- Responsible for PPE.
- Use of tester machine.
- Reading of catalog.
- Product knowledge.
- Identify possible unit faults and fix faults.
- Establish work priorities.
- Interpret different tests performed by the tester to accept or reject the units.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of related experience
- Must be able to learn on the job, adapt to changes, and become proficient quickly.
Skills:
Preferred qualifications:
- Two years of experience
- High level of concentration and close attention to details.
- Excellent interpersonal relations.
- Responsive to customer requests both internal and external.
