Job description
Developing embedded software systems in assembly and C
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Mathematics. Four (4) years of equivalent related military experience may be substituted for the Bachelor degree. Shall have a minimum of six (6) years of software/system development work experience, with expertise in two (2) or more of the following areas:
- Experience with Python or Perl scripting languages
- System Requirements Analysis
- Developing embedded software systems in one or more of the following operating system environments: Unix, Linux, Windows, VxWorks or psos
- Software System Design
- Experience with operating system internals with one or more of the following operating systems: Unix, Linux, Windows, VxWorks, psos
- Software System Development
- Working knowledge of common protocols/standards such as TCP/IP, SDH/SONET, ATM, MPLS/GMPLS, Ethernet, Carrier Grade Ethernet, SS7
- Software System Integration
- Low-level programming of device drivers in a Unix, Linux, or Windows environment
- Software System Testing
- Bit-level data analysis
- In addition to the requirements above, the individual shall have at least five (5) years of work experience in three or more of the following areas:
- Experience with reverse engineering and analysis of software
- Developing embedded software systems in assembly, C, C++, or other proprietary languages_
- Experience with Ida Pro or customer complimentary tool
- Developing embedded software systems in one or more of the following operating system environments: Unix, Linux, Windows, VxWorks, PalmOS, JunOS, psos, or vendor- proprietary operating systems.
- Experience with 3G, 4G, LTE
- Experience with operating system internals with one or more of the following operating systems: Unix, Linux, Windows, VxWorks, PalmOS, JunOS, psos, or vendor-proprietary operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with integrating hardware and software systems
