Job description

Assist customers and manage cash register. Pump gas (Oregon) or propane on a regular basis. Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the fuel center. Recover stock, fill out incident and security reports, and maintain compliance documentation. Role model and demonstrate the Company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of self and others.

Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform tasks in a manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

Essential job functions and minimum qualifications:

• Model customer 1st behavior: deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Pump gas
• Complete daily tour and inspection
• Fill out incident and security reports
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report
• Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of department
• Perform cashier functions
• Answer telephones
• Comply with corporate policies
• Promote and follow Company initiatives
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans and numbers
• High school diploma or GED; or combination of relevant education and experience
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work weekends on a regular basis, work any shift and work overtime as needed
• Accuracy/attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour
