Job description

• General cleaning and maintenance duties in a marine, dry bulk facility
• Comply with all good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices
• Learn to operate various machinery efficiently, as requested, as able.
• Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant
• Help other positions/departments as needed
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and stack 40 pounds
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Demonstrate an understanding of the products manufactured and processes involved
• Demonstrate a willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality and efficiency
• Read and comprehend standard operating procedures
• Understand daily production needs
• Mechanical ability a plus
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule
• Willing and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment

· OSHA training preferred

· TWIC card required or under application

· Must be able to climb ladders and equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
