Wish is looking for a full-time experienced General Ledger Accountant (“accountant”) who will work closely with and report to the Accounting Manager. The accountant will prepare journal entries, and assist with the completion of balance sheet reconciliations monthly, and other ad hoc projects for the Accounting Manager and Management.

**Preference will be given to candidates in the Bay Area, with a secondary preference to Pacific Time Zone

What you'll be doing:

• Responsible for Cash accounting which includes month-end journal entries for Cash transactions and preparation of bank reconciliations.
• Responsible for Lease accounting under ASC 842 which includes preparing month-end journal entries and reconciliations related to lease accounting.
• Responsible for Fixed Asset accounting which includes preparing month-end journal entries and reconciliations involving fixed asset addition, disposals, and impairments.
• Assist with performing balance sheet reconciliations for other designated accounts.
• Coordinate meetings with department heads or owners regarding process improvements, impairment indicators, termination, and capitalization of new leases.
• Assist in the preparation of schedules and respond to inquiries and requests for support from management or external auditors in conjunction with the Company’s financial audit.
• Assist with Ad Hoc monthly projects.

• BA/BS/Master’s in accounting or equivalent, CPA preferred but is not required.
• 3-year minimum accounting experience in public corporation and/or Big 4 or equivalent.
• Understanding of US GAAP and concepts relating to cash, lease accounting related to ASC 842, and fixed assets and amortization accounting.
• Experience with NetSuite or other accounting ERP system is preferred but not required.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with emphasis on exceptional excel knowledge.
• Initiative-taker with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy.
