Rangeline Pipeline Services is an underground utility contractor with over 25 years in the water and wastewater industry. We are currently looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator.

*Weekly Pay*

*Per Diem $50.00 per day*

*Starting Salary based on qualifications.*

Role and Responsibilities

• Transport and operates a variety of light-, medium-, and heavy-duty equipment used in the maintenance and repair of construction projects.
• Maintain the safe working condition of all equipment used; performs minor repairs on equipment and reports the need for major repairs; performs mandatory pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Operate an excavator for excavating utility trenches, placing pipe and backfilling.
• Operate skid steer loading materials into dump trucks and waste containers; transports to appropriate location.
• Read and understand survey markings and blueprint drawings; surveys job sites for underground utilities that may interfere with excavation.
• Perform heavy and semi-skilled construction maintenance and labor work when not operating equipment regularly assigned.
• Travel and perform after-hours on call and emergency work.
• Perform related duties as required by Operations.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools pertaining to the work in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License Preferred CDL License.
• Ability to pull small utility trailers.
• Ability to operate backhoe, excavator, track hoe, front end loaders, and compaction equipment.
• Identify and distinguish the difference in underground utilities.
