A typical day for a Housekeeper includes:

· Cleaning floors to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc. Cleaning carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting

· Cleaning public restrooms including washing, sanitizing, and/or polishing bathroom fixtures

· Visiting assigned residences to perform basic apartment cleaning of bathroom fixtures and floors. Wiping surfaces in kitchen and ensuring that appliances are clean. Vacuuming and feather dusting surfaces in apartment. Removing linens from bed and returning to resident for cleaning

Maintenance Tech Requirements:

· High school Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

· One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Knowledge of building equipment, building codes and building systems (HVAC, plumbing and electrical) in health care facilities

· Ability to communicate effectively with Residents and their family members, and associates at all levels of the organization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $17.50 per hour
