A Medical Center along the Space Coast of Florida is seeking an Interim Director of OR to join their team

?

The Position

• The Interim Director of OR is responsible for the oversight and day-to-day operations of the department, supporting a 10-bed OR unit.
• Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this leader will oversee 58 FTEs.
• This leader will be asked to conduct a full assessment of department operations and provide recommendations for improvement and a path forward. Additionally, this leader will focus on standardization of care with the team, working to reduce delayed starts and other key OR metrics. Lastly, this leader will work to improve communications and foster trust with staff.
• The ideal candidate will be an active listener, with previous leadership experience. Must have great credibility and can mentor/coach/inspire others. Strong technical skills will be critical.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks upon acceptance.

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• The client will also provide you with a rental car, as well as lodging that is clean, safe and in close proximity to the organization. Each is furnished and has a kitchen.
