As a Laundry Mechanic, you would be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, repairing and carrying out the preventive maintenance program on the laundry’s production equipment and building systems. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

• Mechanical and electronic troubleshooting, repair and installation of equipment.
• Performs scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on all plant equipment, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and related equipment.
• Using plumbing and carpentry skills to attend to building maintenance and preventative programs.
• Monitors public space temperatures, making appropriate adjustments when necessary.
• Maintains appropriate record of preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Visually inspection of gauges, dials and mechanical equipment, make basic mathematical calculations, and move and climb on all types of uneven surfaces.

This is a full-time, year-round position working at the Plantation Laundry Facility in Conway, SC. Required 2nd shift schedule, with holidays and weekends.
