Preventive Maintenance Technician | $22 - $29.42/hr DOE

Monday - Friday, 10:30pm - 6:30am, possible OT on Saturdays

Aventure Staffing is searching for Maintenance Technicians for a wheel manufacturer in Estherville, IA. This client works in close partnership with leading OEMs to develop, manufacture and supply wheels that are specifically designed to meet the needs of the agricultural market. Extensive research and development in agricultural engineering solutions over many years, ensures that their products are efficient, safe and enable increased productivity of machinery. As a global supplier, but one that delivers a local service, they are committed to investing in state-of-the-art design, manufacturing and processes to supply high-quality products with a long service life. The primary function of this role is to install, maintain and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems within the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
• Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and diagnose problems and/or repair machines
• Dismantle and re assemble defective machines and equipment
• Install and repair electrical apparatus of machinery and equipment
• Repair and maintain physical structure of plant
• Fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions and other wooden structures

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience and/or equivalent related education
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
