The Role

Loloi Rugs is seeking Material Handlers to check in all returned items received through multiple freight carriers. Responsible for collecting data and using Loloi Rugs return criteria to make proper determinations when processing returns.

Responsibilities:

• Require heavy lifting for an extended period.
• Assist with the movement of product within the work area.
• Sort product to their proper location according to standard procedures for the work area.
• Inspect all products in order to make the determining factor of proper quality category.
• Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is returned.
• Complete the assigned tasks in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

• This is a distribution center with no climate control its hot and cold depending on local conditions.
• Dust and fibers are part of a warehouse environment. Loloi strives to maintain a clean, clear, and safe work environment and expects all employees to do their part in that effort.
• Loloi’s rugs are produced using a variety of natural fibers, including wool, viscose, cotton, and jute. Employee will encounter these through the normal course of performing everyday job duties.
• Powered equipment is used throughout the distribution facility.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position is a plus.
• Familiarity with RF devices is a plus.
• Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Ability to communicate in English or Spanish.
• Dexterity and attention to detail.
• Can follow directions and teamwork.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
• Ability to lift and or move up to 75 lbs.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience is a plus.
