Job description
The Ranger Group is a Technical Recruiting firm based out of Dallas and we are looking for a talented Network Engineer for one of our valued clients, Southwest Airlines (SWA). This position will be involved with a global network security migration project taking place at SWA and you will be, in part, responsible for monitoring Cisco core route/switches during changeovers. This aspect of the role will involve 25-30% travel so the ideal candidate would be located near an airport location. This role is a long term, 12-month contract. Please reach out today if interested. Required Experience
- 3-7 years of experience as a Network Engineer
- L2/L3 Cisco Route Switch background
- Field location focused vs datacenter
- CCNA preferred
- Duties could surround discovery work, auditing, documentation of network topography, environment review and working alongside the SWA Network Engineering team.
