The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics & Recreation is seeking an Office Assistant 1 (Stores/Mail), SG-06 who is forward-thinking, creative in problem-solving, self-sufficient, organized and enjoys helping others.
To be successful, you should be a self-starter possessing a friendly, customer service-oriented attitude. In this position, you’ll act in full service to our Geneseo Knights and assist our visiting teams and officials that travel to SUNY Geneseo.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for
- setting up and assigning locker rooms and facility usage
- assessing for locker room needs and repairs
- assisting in maintaining and repairing equipment for our athletic teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have a permanent appointment in an Office Assistant 1, SG-06 (Stores/Mail), classified position; be reachable for appointment on the current NYS Civil Service canvass list for SUNY Geneseo’s area location for an Office Assistant 1, SG-06 (Stores/Mail) position; or be transfer eligible.
NYS Preferred Lists candidates have preference.
