Job description
We are looking to hire a payroll officer for a well established home care agency in Brooklyn, NY!!
Responsibilities:
- Processing payroll for the entirety of the company
- Calculating wages
- Issuing checks/direct deposits to employees
- Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non-taxable wages
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries
- Processing and issuing W-2 forms to employees
Requirements:
- Ability to accurately do data entry and pay attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Accounting/Payroll experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
