- Directly supervise a team responsible for managing the centralization of IT capital project business impacts and oversee information governance of Distribution processes, policies, and documentation.
- Ensure formal consistency and adherence to cross-organizational and specific Distribution, Work Management, and IT capital-related projects and initiatives.
- Provide direction to ensure effective management of helpdesk activities supporting Region Scheduling, Operations, and field personnel throughout Distribution
- Ensure user engagement and adherence by partnering with Work Management, IT, NextGen, and various stakeholders throughout Distribution supporting system and technology implementations to ensure all process changes, updates, and enhancements are developed, supported, communicated, and understood.
- Integrate new processes into the Distribution organization through formal and effective management and oversight, including strategy coordination with various organizations, implementation plans, OCM and mitigations, and aligning organizational expectations.
- Influence project performance, implementation, and outcomes to ensure that proposed process and/or technology changes are consistent with Distribution performance management tenets and expectations
- Build and strengthen working relationships with organizations across Distribution and SCE including Distribution, Construction & Maintenance (DC&M), Central Design & Engineering (CD&E), Work Management, NextGen, IT, and others as needed
The essentials
- Five or more years of experience managing/supervising an organization/unit.
The preferred
- Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in business administration or related field and broad training and experience in managing key projects
- Technical knowledge and understanding of Distribution operations, business mechanics, policies, practices, and procedures
- PMP, PMI or related Project Management certification or Lean Six Sigma
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork, manage confidential information, drive change through influence, always works with integrity, and high level of self-awareness
- Demonstrated strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills
You should know
- The position’s work mode is remote. Employee is able to work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an SCE facility on occasion. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Hiring organizations can add further requirements related to specific jobs.
