Description:
The Corporate Services Procurement Contract Specialist will work with Procurement Category and Sourcing Managers and Directors, the Legal Department, and other cross-functional team members to prepare contracts that conform to client legal, risk, procurement, and other policy requirements. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, organized self-starter with excellent verbal and written skills. The responsibilities include but are not limited to contract document authoring, review, and revision; coordinating legal and other internal reviews of contracts; obtaining required approvals for signature; entering contract data into contract management system and reporting on same.
How you will impact ***:
- Support the efficient and accurate management of procurement contracts throughout the contract lifecycle from initial drafting to signature to renewal or termination
- Assist procurement sourcing/category managers and directors with the preparation of contracts that accurately reflect negotiated commercial terms
- Select from appropriate pre-approved templates to prepare contract documents or perform initial review to mark up supplier agreement documents
- Draft non-standard contract language and assist with new template development as needed
- Engage with legal, procurement, accounting and other stakeholders to ensure contract terms meet required company standards
- Prepare documents and communications to accomplish contract review, approval, signature, and filing
- Timely and accurately enter, update, and report on key data points of completed contracts and contracts in process within contract management system
- Assist with preparation and presentation of training materials relating to Procurement contract process and contract management system
- Complete special projects as required to meet stakeholder needs or department initiatives (e.g., contract document pulls, contract management system administration)

- Highly accomplished spelling, vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills
- Superlative attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Experience with a web-based contract management system
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate at all levels of organization
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrable proficiency from a comparable working environment
- Paralegal certificate from an accredited paralegal program is preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years’ prior experience preparing complex contract documents is required
- Prior practice with contracts involving professional and consulting services, human resources, travel, and office and building supplies is strongly preferred
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
