Your Role: What you'll be doing
- Support engineering design effort, sub-systems integration, product technical support, anomaly resolution, and launch support for the Propulsion fluids systems (cryogenic, non-cryogenic, and pneumatics) for Centaur V.
- Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations.
- Support development of propulsion system and sub-system designs
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
- Ensure all designs satisfy overall launch vehicle and system requirements
- Perform system integration and perform system level trade studies to optimize designs for manufacturing, produce-ability and performance.
- Resolve test anomalies to identify root cause that leads to effective resolution and corrective actions that prevent recurrence.

Your Background: What skills you'll need
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical field is required
- Ability to lead a small team of propulsion design engineers through systems integration
- Ability to lead technical issue resolution in an efficient and thorough manner to support program milestones
- Strong familiarity with fluid system design, component designs and integrated pneumatic and cryogenic systems
- Experienced professional contributor with prior responsibility for an advanced area of work.
- Knowledge of dynamic, structural and fluids analysis concepts
- Work experience on projects in which integration between different engineering disciplines and functions (e.g. structural, electrical, test, analysis, production and launch operations).
- Ability to plan and schedule development activities
- Ability to communicate and present complex, technical information

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate’s experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
