Job description
The position will be responsible for administration support for mass communication campaigns, local information dissemination and the Section’s online publications catalogue. Prepares documents, tables, charts, and presentations for conferences, meetings and special events. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
(30%) Serves as administrative support for Section’s publication program. Tracks monthly ordering reports of online publication catalogue. Works with vendor to ensure all materials and orders are available for public distribution. Works cross-functionally with other Public Information team members to track translations, printing jobs and amounts, vendor timelines and invoices, and keeping up-to-date records of edits and latest versions of all publications and materials.
(20%) Compiles and prepares outcomes for various reports, including but not limited to multiple Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contract progress reports. Creates surveys. Contributes to the development of content material including but not limited to one-pagers, guides, memos and educational collateral. Participates in collaboration with internal and external audiences as needed.
(30%) Assists in the development and implementation of immunization internal and external communication, including website, newsletters and other mass communication tools. Responsible for serving as secondary point person for website updates and website content creation. Will also serve as contact for mass communications via online database system.
(15%) Assists with conference and meeting logistics by organizing materials for mail-outs, presentations and mass distribution. Assists with special events. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Performs required activities to meet established deadlines.
(5%) Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agency's obligations for disease response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location.
