We are looking for a dynamic, Electrical Engineering leader looking to:
- Create a culture of change and accountability

- Advance people and processes to help scale the business
- Manage product lifecycle from new product development through end-of life
What you will do:
- Lead a growing Electrical Engineering team through design to product launch and sustaining efforts
- Plan and support product development through a stage gate development process, delivering safe, high quality, reliable products through to market launch
- Work with product management to help prioritize the product and technology roadmap and then ensure team and project success through engagement across the organization
- Foster growth through individualized coaching, setting clear expectations and establishing accountability while providing opportunities for employee development
- Guide the team through application and site considerations relating to installation, distribution, and commissioning of developed products
- Promote design rigor and solutions through engineering methodologies such as Analysis of Alternatives, Design of Experiments, FMEA, Design for X and collaboration with partners and suppliers
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years experience with 3-phase power systems design (e.g. UPS, motor drives, power conversion, power electronics, or similar) that monitor and control power
- Knowledge of power distribution systems, protection and control for industrial facilities
- 4+ years of management experience with record of building teams
- Experience with product development for high-volume applications, from concept to market launch
- Experience with NEC and safety certification standard compliance such as UL and IEC
- Expertise in safety, quality, reliability, and performance of electronic circuit designs
We would love to see:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Expertise in protection and control design and qualification
- Knowledge or experience with EVs and EVSE design
