Express Employment Professionals in Albertville is looking for a Shipping Supervisor to work at one of their clients in Maple Lake. This position is responsible for verifying accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments, preparing documents, issuing carrier instructions for shipping and delivery of materials, and recording shipment data. This position pays $50k- $55k/yr Job duties:

• Ensure team coordination for area of operations under the guidance of the Plant Manager.
• Inspect all outgoing shipments to ensure correct items and quantities.
• Update inventory records and ensure that orders match the picking documents.
• Answer all shipping telephone calls and route to appropriate individuals.
• Assist and evaluate needs with shipping services, points, weights and freight permits.
• Communicate with 3rd party providers to efficiently coordinate all activities for inbound and outbound shipments, including dock appointments, live unloads, drop trailers/containers and empty equipment notifications and returns
• Prepare Bills of Lading, check items to be shipped against pick tickets to assure that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
• Unload incoming materials as well as loading outbound freight.
• Inspect shipments for damages, record as necessary and notify supervisor.
• Trace lost shipments and /or customer claims of lost shipments, initiate proof of delivery documents.
• Assist in maintaining department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping records.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and /or forklift in loading and unloading supplies.
• Follow established company policies, procedures, objectives, and safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

We are looking for candidates that have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Applicants should have at least 3 years of successful Manufacturing and Shipping experience along with leadership skills. Knowledge of MS office suites, excellent communication skills, good math and problem solving skills. This is a day shift position paying $50K - $55K/yr depending on level of experience.
