Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our partnered School District in Augusta, GA. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional speech and language therapy services to students in the district. This is a full-time position for the 2023-2024 school year.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual student needs.
- Conduct therapy sessions to improve students' speech, language, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers on speech and language strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of Georgia.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
