Description

The Defense Acquisitions University Support Team is seeking an instructional designer to design, develop and deliver training assets to support face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs to develop Training strategies and plans
• Write design and content documents based on needs analysis information
• Develop training courseware and materials
• Coordinate training deliverables with internal team members
• Develop storyboards
• Communicate with internal team members and Government stakeholders about course development progress
• Review and perform changes on course materials with an eye for industry best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience as an instructional designer
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong information technology skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience with Adobe Captivate, Blackboard, HTML-based applications, Composica, and Articulate Storyline is a plus

Education:

• BS degree in Instructional Design or related field is preferred

Communication Skills:

• Strong communication skills

Travel:

• Up to 10%
