This community focused organization is seeking to hire a dynamic Attorney for their Medical Legal Partnership practice. Use your law degree to help others, change systems for the better, gain experience and provide representation across multiple practice areas! Qualifications J.D. and NYS Bar Admission (can be considered if Bar exam has been passed and formal admission is pending) Desire, commitment and sensitivity to assist low-income and under-served communities. Second language fluency preferred, but not required.

Essential Responsibilities / Functions:

• Provide a spectrum of legal assistance from advice/counsel by phone to affirmative litigation in a wide range of issues;

• Identify systemic problems that affect our clients’ rights;

• Collaborate and coordinate with other staff and community partners to assure effective referrals and holistic service delivery;

• Develop relationships and engage in collaborations with a range of public and private community partners;

• Demonstrate ability to work with low-income clients across the vast spectrum of diversity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
