Castle Peak, a 5-star rated senior care community located in scenic Eagle, CO, is seeking an experienced Full-Time Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will organize and schedule appropriate nursing department coverage, including the master schedule, daily schedule, scheduling replacements for shifts, and managing payroll. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, excels at multitasking, and thrives working in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working Monday through Friday and rotating on-call weekends.

Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator responsibilities:

• Coordinate schedule and staffing levels for the nursing department.
• Interview candidates for open nursing and CNA positions.
• Conduct reference checks and background checks for potential employees.
• Will oversee and complete payroll on a b-weekly basis
• Complete daily budget report for all nursing hours.
• Track attendance and work with DON to complete disciplinary action forms.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator skills and requirements:

• 1+ year of prior nursing staffing/scheduling experience required.
• 2 years of experience in long-term care, and ideally at least 1 year as either certified nursing assistant (CNA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred.
• Must have flexibility in scheduling.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent customer service skills.
