Student - Impact Associate for the Center for Social Impact
Job description
The Center for Social Impact is looking to hire a paid Associate who will be available to work directly with the Pathways Director to perform administrative work such as tracking event details, working with Impact Fellows, entering data into spreadsheets and being a representative for the Center.
This position will require you to be able to interact with UVU students, communicate our mission and values, and share information about programs, events and student leadership opportunities.
This job will consist of 2-6 hours of work per week.
We’re looking to hire an Associate who will:
Be committed to values of inclusion and equity.- Effectively communicate the mission and values of the Center for Social Impact along with associated events and programs.
- Attend regular planning meetings with Student Impact Fellows.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Working with one of our Pathways Fellows to help produce impact events and programs (e.g. The Real Talk Podcast, Social Impact Movie Nights, The Clothesline Project, etc.),
- Working on our marketing and design team, or
- Working with one of our staff members helping to plan and manage Alternative Break trips or other programming
Must be a current UVU
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, faculty, and public.
- Punctuality and time management.
- Manage electronic files, manage online social network sites, basic computer skills, and basic research skills.
