Job Summary
This position is responsible for the operation, direction, and evaluation of substance use disorder services occurring for individuals engaged with Benton County Services. Plays a key role in coordination of all, alcohol/drug treatment and specialty behavioral health strategies for behavioral health education, prevention and service delivery. Works in concert and collaboration with the Behavioral Health leadership team and service providers to ensure service and operational standards are met.

- Annual salary range of:
- $74,514 to $111,769.
- This position is eligible for up to two salary raises within your first year. Increases may be given at the end of the 6 month probationary period, depending on starting salary and at the 1 year anniversary, as long as your performance is in good standing! Increases are given until the maximum of the salary range is reached.
- For most employees who take advantage of health benefits the salary only makes up 60% of their total compensation. The County invests in you and your family!

The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related field from an accredited college or university; AND
- 5 years of professional work experience in Behavioral Health
- 2 years or 4,000 hours of supervised experience in SUD counseling
- 2 years of which are managerial or supervisory experience
- Supervisory experience includes the authority to hire, terminate, assign, reward and discipline other employees

Special Requirements:
- Holds current CADC.
- Valid Oregon Driver's License. This position requires driving and may require use of a personal vehicle.

- Has a working knowledge of clinical/therapeutic skills around Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative Problem Solving, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
- Understands clinical documentation in Electronic Health Records and can contribute to an atmosphere of timely and high quality information.
- Maintains positive working relationships with landlords, property management companies and partners in the community that have shared goals.
- Actively and willingly collaborates with others in order to achieve results.
- Is resilient, setting and maintaining personal and professional boundaries in order to be of service to the organization and clients we serve.
