In this job, you will be part of the Clean Energy Project Management group and will support a team comprised of project managers and analysts. You will have responsibility for tasks associated with infrastructure installation for all existing and future Commercial Electric Vehicle programs and projects. Southern California Edison’s vision for a clean energy future will be enabled by our ambitious clean energy strategic initiatives, including cleaning the power grid and helping customers make clean energy choices. Transportation Electrification and Clean Energy Project Management are a key component of this strategy.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Coordinate, document and track project objectives, timelines, risks, milestones, deliverables, and budgets at the direction of project managers.
  • Gather, document, and plan all aspects of analyses, presentations, and implementation strategies for a moderate to complex analysis. Usually responsible for implementation of selected recommendations.
  • Develop and review drafts for presentations to Corporate Officers, Department and division management and other interested parties.
  • Weekly contact with other departments, regulators, and standards/rules setting bodies.
  • Regularly adjust to changing workloads and follow up as necessary on multiple projects with minimal direction when dealing with internal and external customers.
Qualifications


The essentials

  • Two years or more of project support or project analysis experience.
  • One or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel performing advanced functions such as VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, filtering/sorting, charts and graphing.

The preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Electric Utility Industry work experience in planning, engineering, or project management.
  • Experience working with Data Analytics visualization tools such as SAS VA, Tableau and PowerBI
  • Experience working with Design Manager.
  • Experience working with SharePoint.
  • Ability to present results to management and key partners.

  • The position’s work mode is remote. Employee is able to work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an SCE facility on occasion. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Hiring organizations can add further requirements related to specific jobs.
