Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer and support primarily Linux (LAMP stack) server environments, particularly in the public and private cloud
• Plan and deploy new virtual (and physical in some cases) infrastructure and software to meet business needs while maintaining high availability
• Manage migration and upgrade projects by coordination with various departments throughout the organization
• Reliably maintain firewalls, WAF, and other security products
• Implement and/or operate reliable backups of various types and restore objects as needed
• Manage file permission, user permissions, and centralized identity management
• Support product development teams via ticketing systems, tracking time on work performed

Work Experience:

7+ years of systems administrator and/or systems architect work, with an emphasis on a broad array of platforms and technologies; Preference given to those with experience working with ticketing systems, time tracking, and a background of customer or user support. Candidate should have a broad range of technology experience including on-premise and cloud server infrastructure (especially AWS), Linux and Windows server OS, networking, load balancers, security, databases, etc. Candidate should be able to work well within a team or individually, and be a self-starter.

Skills/Licenses/Certifications:

• Linux server administration (LAMP stack) - Required
• NGINX administration - Required
• Containerization (Docker, LXC, etc.) - Required
• Some MySQL configuration experience - Required
• AWS SysOps Administrator certification or equivalent AWS experience - Required
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent AWS experience - Required
• Terraform scripting to create infrastructure - Required

The following compensation information is a good faith estimate and is provided in accordance with applicable state laws. The base salary generally ranges between $87,500/year - $ 125,00/year. This range is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills, experience, and training.
