Job Overview
Just Ingredients is a health and wellness-based company seeking a full-time Website Manager to join our growing company. The IT Manager’s chief goal is to utilize their technological skills in order to improve user experience and company efficiency. You will be responsible for managing essential website operations, including planning, implementing, monitoring, and upgrading the organization’s website, while responding and troubleshooting all website issues.
Responsibilities for Website Manager
- Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading the organization's website that is run on the Shopify platform.
- Responding to, troubleshooting, and resolving all website issues.
- Integrate, manage, and monitor ShipStation software.
- Identifying and responding to all website security breaches.
- Ensuring that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures.
- Updating HTML, CSS and JavaScript regularly.
- Conducting content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
- Creating appropriate website content aligned with the organization’s strategy.
- Ensuring website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans.
- Improving the user experience of the website regularly.
- Collaborating with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization’s standards.
- Creating strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics.
- Ensuring full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and monitoring competitor websites.
Qualifications for Website Manager
- A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification.
- Proven experience working on a high-traffic Shopify website.
- Expert knowledge of Macromedia suite, Adobe suite, Content Management Systems, and W3C Web standards.
- Highly proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript.
- Highly proficient in using and integrating ShipStation software.
- Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Per Click (PPC).
- Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Excellent content creation and writing skills.
- Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multitask.
Salary dependent on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
