The role of this position is to perform all the required tasks and duties within the Fluid Materials Team. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in the areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR) and our Customer 1st strategy. The Fluid Materials Tech I makes an impact by

  • Perform and record all sanitation duties as required within the fluid materials team including Master Sanitation Sheet (MSS) tasks, case washer tasks, supporting the environmental program and manual cleaning of all equipment associated with the fluid materials team areas.
  • Perform and record all quality assurance (QA) tests and checks pertaining to the fluid materials team areas.
  • Proficient in all communication systems and processes, computer programs, and the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) board.
  • Perform and record all required tasks within the materials team areas including the case handling room, spot pack room, box erector room, Top Tier and Unitizer, and Fluid receiving areas.
  • Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and adjust the equipment in the area as necessary according to the standards of the operation.
  • Perform basic maintenance duties for all equipment as required.
  • Receive incoming deliveries, supply required materials to production and maintain inventory levels for all stocked materials.
  • Using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), unload incoming trailers and load outgoing trailers
  • Using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), load, unload, and stage empty crates from trailers in the case room
  • Performs all duties within established safety guidelines. This includes but not limited to adhering to Safety in Motion guidelines, LOTO procedures, wearing appropriate PPE, Clarity, SLAM observations and using the correct tools for the task at hand.
  • Performs all duties within the established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations.
  • Obtains and maintains all required certification for regulatory compliance.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain certifications for all required Power Industrial Trucks (PITs).
    • Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements
    • Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.
