Description: Shift Details: Monday-Friday, 4:30am to 2:30pm
Saturday if Production
Sunday, if we have dough production, and everyone takes a turn the hours are 5am to 2pm.

Position Summary:

• Perform duties to move, ship and receive materials throughout the company.
• Work from verbal orders and written production sheets.
• Review weekly production sheet to determine what materials are needed for production.
• Identify which items are needed to fill an internal restaurant order from written order forms.
• Receive written orders from the company driver and pull materials needed for sale at local markets.
• Move selected items from the storage areas to the production areas.
• Pull items to be shipped for orders based upon order sheets.
• Coordinate shipments and deliveries and verify amounts according to the bill of lading.
• Prepare internal orders for shipping by labeling and tagging the materials.
• Notify supervisor if inventory levels are low.
• Give department manager/supervisor work orders and any documents generated for recording purposes.
• Use forklift, hand pallet jacks and common office supplies.
• Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Most be able to use forklift, hand pallet jacks and common office supplies.
• Some dock work experience
• Forklift certification is preferred.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch on a regular basis to check equipment or supplies in low-lying areas.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8+ hours, while working with and around machinery.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work in variable temperatures to include frigid/humid environments.
• Must be able to lift (above shoulder) up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to push (waist or shoulder level) up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to pull (waist or shoulder level) up to 50 pounds occasionally.
