Job description
We are seeking the following individual for our QC department who has experience with working in a chemical related application area.Responsibilities:
Dispense, weigh, and dispose of low to moderately hazardous chemicals
Mix low to moderately hazardous chemicals using electric laboratory stirrers
Learn and perform standardized laboratory foam and other tests
Maintain accurate records of procedure, data and observations both in a laboratory notebook and standardized database (SAP)
Use excel spreadsheets to record and organize data.
Communicate results, observations and work progress to supervisor on a frequent basis (every 1-2 days).
Provide support to production operations, including performing in-plant, in-process checks on batches.
Support with sample request processing including shipments to customers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with no experience or High School Diploma/GED with minimum of three years experience in a chemical related application area/batch manufacturing company.
Must be organized, thorough, and have computer skills, math aptitude.
Proficiency on bench performing testing of product applications and specifications (physical and Chemical properties) and strong data observation / interpretation
