Job description

Perform a full range of accounts payable functions including, regular interaction with suppliers, internal customers in a professional and courteous manner, and with Controller and CFO are required. Must deliver exceptional services to internal and external customers.

Major Responsibilities:

Timely and highly accurate processing of invoices and payments
Ensure new Vendor setup is done accurately
Manage relationships with suppliers and provide timely responses to supplier inquires
Monitor, reconcile and properly code payment expense classification
Ensure all check runs, ACH and wire transfer payments are handled smoothly
Reconcile vendor accounts, statements and past due balances
Working knowledge of conditional and unconditional releases

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years Accounts Payable experience in a computerized environment
Good working knowledge in Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Detail Oriented
Must be a team player

Additional duties and responsibilities

• Request current insurance certificates & W9’s for subcontractors
• Reconcile credit card statements monthly and match invoice to charges
• Reconcile and audit monthly statements and match to charges
• Process 1099’s
• Answer phones as necessary
