Responsibilities:
ITA International is hiring for positions to support the USAF's Air Combat Command (ACC) which delivers current and sustainable combat warfighting capabilities. This position will provide support specifically to the ACC A5/8/9 Directorate of Strategic Plans, Programs and Requirements whose mission is to suppport ACC's Lead Command role in equipping combat-ready forces today and to ensure dominant combat airpower across the full range of Joint military operations.
The A5/8/9S Administrative Support position will be responsible for the following duties:
- Maintaining broad technical and analytical resource proficiency to efficiently translate weapon system requirements into documented resource reports.
- Maintaining a close interface with a wide range of users, developers, industry, Air Staff, and other agencies as required to ensure resource development efforts are aligned with overall DoD direction.
- Assisting in evaluating system capabilities and program cost effectiveness according to fiscal parameters and measurements, to include assessing costs for accuracy and reasonableness and identifying potential alternatives.
- Assist in developing spreadsheets and briefing charts to support strategies to optimize modernization efforts contained within the HQ ACC Program Objective Memorandum (POM).
- Provide support in monitoring and analyzing funding execution to ensure consistent and proper resource alignment among projects.
- Assist with cost, schedule, technical, and performance assessments and develop briefings and background papers to identify potential impacts and proposed courses of action.
- Provide support to manage Unit Manning Documentation and Command Man-day allocation system.
- Tracking and executing required manpower updates and incorporate into appropriate manpower systems.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or Four (4) years’ MAJCOM Staff Experience
- Three (3) years’ staff experience (combination of active duty, Government service, or Contractor) in operations, staff or working specific program or subject area of the specific A5/8/9 mission area being tasked
- Secret Security Clearance
- Experience developing and executing manpower and personnel programs to accomplish planning and processing for promotion and assignment actions
- Experience in tracking and executing required manpower and personnel updates and incorporating into appropriate data systems
- Experience reviewing Core Personnel Documents, preparing hierarchical and organization charts
- Experience inputting personnel actions into automated programs for the Request for Personnel Action (RPA) and other programs as required
- Experience in determining eligibility criteria and performing quality review for Performance Recommendation Forms (PRFs)
