Job description

The Account Manager will enable customer retention and growth through effective account management activities. This role is a key sales position that requires priority based consistent client interaction, product and service education and relationship building.

Responsibilities:

• Access customers and prospects, conduct needs assessments and increase market share
• Utilize proprietary CRM tools to execute a structured sales call cadence; Minimum of 15 client visits (10 drop-ins plus 5 scheduled meetings) per week
• Maintain a defined group of customers; retain our business and identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with Business Development Specialist and other Sales Associates to support overall market growth
• Participate in networking and trade associations to create brand awareness, identify new prospects and build relationships in the local market
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of Circa Lighting’s product and service value propositions
• Capable of analyzing and interpreting data to drive decision making
• Occasionally assist in the showroom when needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years sales experience, 1+ years of outside sales experience preferred
• Experience in interior design, custom home building products, luxury home furnishings and/or lighting industry a plus
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills with experience in public speaking and leading professional presentations
• Superior organization skills with excellent attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Keen eye for design and creativity
• Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
• Requires an independent, proactive and self-motivated person who will offer exceptional service to our customers
• Excellent driving record and reliable transportation
