Job description

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerkto provide financial, administrative and clerical services in city of Corona.

The Accounts Receivable Clerk secures revenue by verifying and posting receipts and resolving discrepancies. This position summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts and customer files and processing and posting customer and supplier payments to accounts.

Monday-Friday

7AM-4PM

$20/hr

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):

  • Processes large daily volume of approx. 85 - 100 invoices.
  • Creates and maintains customer files.
  • Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
  • Generates payroll and 401K entries to G/L.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) plus application of general accounting theory.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with emphasis in Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with ERP system for manufacturing.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and work with diverse populations of people
  • Ability to type at a minimum speed of 35wpm.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with accuracy and efficiency
  • 10-key and data entry
