The successful Accountant will drive results by delivering exceptional solutions for our internal team and external partners.

Detailed responsibilities include:

• Close production jobs accurately and in a timely manner; investigate root cause of variances occurring after job close

• Establish and document process for establishing standard costs

• Partner with engineering to review and update labor, overhead, run speed and scrap rates

• Leverage price quote model to quickly and accurately make pricing recommendations

• Support maintenance and improvement of inventory transaction management and reconciliation process leveraging ERP system

• Develop deep understanding of production processes, raw materials and cost drivers

• Be the go-to resource for Cogs, inventory and variance analysis and explanation

• Conduct frequent profitability analysis to ensure costing is accurate and up-to-date

• Work with engineering to capture and enter appropriate run speeds

• Support Controller with ad hoc financial analysis on an as need basis

• Provide detailed, proactive analysis on manufacturing variance root cause

• Assist with monthly and yearly close

• Support with customer invoicing process, end of day price checking and daily close

• Other related duties as needed

Qualifications:

• 2 years of relevant accounting experience

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong computer skills

• Strong analytical and exceptional problem-solving skills

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Drive to learn, innovate and execute
