Overview:
The ideal candidate for the Accountant position will be responsible for review and management of the General Ledger and all reconciliations that must take place on a monthly basis. This is a full-time, exempt position with normal work hours between 8:30am to 5:30pm. The position is located at our headquarters office in McLean, Virginia (fully remote during COVID-19).

Tasks and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be able to perform the following duties and possess the required knowledge and skills:

• Complete understanding of General Ledgers and all reconciliations that must take place on a monthly basis.
• Expertise with reconciling multiple bank accounts. Thorough understanding of all payroll taxes (to include FUTA, SUTA, FICA, and Withholdings) for multiple states throughout the United States.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within the Accounting department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Deltek GCS Premier and Deltek Costpoint
• Detailed orientated and able to produce quality work without errors
• Critical attention to detail and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Effective time management skills
