TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Accountant I in Germantown, TN.

The Accountant I (Staff) role reports to the Sr. Finance Manager.
This role performs intermediate accounting and finance support including, but not
limited to, maintaining the general ledger, reviewing financial statements,
preparing financial reports, assisting with audits and budgeting processes, and
reconciling accounts.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Prepares and enters monthly general ledger journal entries and accruals to
  meet monthly deadlines
• Reconciles and analyzes general ledger accounts
• Understands financial statements including income statement, balance sheet
  and cash flow
• Performs regular analysis to identify potential issues and estimate monthly
  results
• Research and answer financial questions
• Develop standard and ad hoc reports with analysis to support business
  objectives as needed.
• Recommends improvements to the company’s accounting operation/processes
• Assist on audit and tax requests as assigned.
• Performs other administrative duties as needed

• Demonstrate approachable and professional demeanor
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables,
  vlookups, etc).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Oracle experienced desired
