Best Mechanical is a commercial HVAC company that is based on Oshkosh, Wisconsin and who has generations of experience delivering, high quality, fast and dependable service to all of our customers. We specialize in large commercial buildings and have done work for cities, school districts and commercial building owners across the area. We are excited to add another member to our growing team.

This position will be part time (12-16 hours a week). You will need to be in the office on Mondays to process payroll and take care of weekly tasks in the office but the remaining weekly hours can be worked remotely.

Duties needing to be completed:

1. Union Payroll: The weekly payroll will need to be completed on Monday mornings as it needs to be submitted by 1p.m. on Monday afternoons.

2. Payroll Taxes and Benefit Deposits

3. Garnishments and Child Support processing

4. Process all unemployment claims

5. HVAC Union Remit – once a month it takes about 3-4 hours to complete

6. Plumbing Union Remit – once a month it takes about ½ hour to complete

7. Process all quarterly tax payments (941’s).

8. Handle new hire paperwork and process for payroll

9. Handle correspondence with union regarding payroll and benefits

10. Sales and Use Tax – Track and process all out of state sales tax and registration and pay as needed.

11. Other items related to accounting or office as needed

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
