Job description
Anaqua is looking for an Accounting Manager to contribute to the success of a growing, Global Accounting team. The Accounting manager will perform daily operational accounting tasks, such as creating journal entries and maintaining the general ledger and certain sub-ledgers. This individual will play an important role helping with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes for Anaqua and its subsidiaries.

- Maintain and balances sub-ledger accounts and confirm that transactions properly post to the general ledger, resolving discrepancies
- Payroll entries
- Monitor and post Accruals entries
- Participate in monthly finance and accounting projects
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reporting package to be reported to management
- Assist with annual audit performed by external auditors, including the preparation of adequate workpapers that support the financial statements.
- Various ad hoc and special projects
- Post cash receipts and disbursements daily
- Reconcile cash accounts monthly
- Maintain fixed asset register for US and certain international entities
- Maintain Prepayments reconciliation
- Work with India tax providers
- Assist in invoicing and collections as needed
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in industry
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize
- Ability to influence and collaborate with others inside and outside the organization
- Strong Excel and Microsoft office skills
- Knowledge of NetSuite a strong plus
