Job Summary:

Our small business is looking for an experienced accounting manager to oversee our financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting and financial tasks, including budgeting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial policies and procedures that ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and inventory.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.

Prepare and file all tax returns, including sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax preparation.

Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial partners.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions.

Manage and mentor accounting staff members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field

At least 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP

Experience with QuickBooks

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
